For our readers with kids, Nick Junior is a great channel to watch to get your kids interested in the lives of other children internationally. During commercial breaks, Nick Junior has begun doing segments called Nick Jr. World Wide.
Nick Jr. Worldwide is a series of short segments told from the prospective of kids from around the world. Isaac from Australia explains the animals that live around his house. Vera from Italy talks about her mother's trips to the local cheese shop. Eirene from Kenya talks about her small school and her home-grown bananas.
Nick Jr. Worldwide also uses their characters to get your tot in the learning mood, with Dora the Explorer showing off Hispanic heritage, Kai Lan teaching your children Chinese, and Little Bill enlightening kids in Black History.
