False Statements on Passports

There are a few instances that may lead you to want to put a false statement on a passport. We got a specific question about wanting to put that she had never been married. What happens if you lie on your passport application?

There are no circumstances that actually warrant lying on your passport application. If you knowingly withhold information or put a false statement on your passport application, you can be hit with huge fines or even spend time in prison.

Please, whatever you do, do not lie on the passport application. We promise it isn't worth it!
