Mrs P Mrs Mack and I drove over to Captain Adams and dined there. Had dinner in the verandah the same as it was the first time I dined there. The verandah was covered in at the sides with canvas. Having no bell they cooeed the servant when they wanted her. Had a slow time of it. Showery day. Mrs Mackenzie is the worse person to drive with that I've come across for some time she
