The first three weeks.

From that point on life in Annecy was temporarily monotonous peppered with ephemeral moments of beauty. They were just enough to remind me why it was all worth it. It definitely helped that Annecy was in the tail end of its prime with copious amounts of sun and perfect temperatures. The lake was better than I had remembered.
