Into the Amazon

I flew from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado the most accessible town in the Amazon in Peru. From the plane there were trees for as far as the eye could see. On land it39s much of the same. And it39s hot. Really hot with 80 percent humidity. Off the plane for 5 minutes and I had already sweat through my clothes. From the airport it was a 50 minute bus ride to the motorized canoe pick up point. I
