Surprising International Food Etiquette

After you've gotten your passport and you're ready to travel the globe, don't forget to brush up on the customs of the country to which you are traveling. What is fully acceptable in one country may get you some dirty looks in the next.

Budget Travel has made up a list of 15 international food etiquette rules that may surprise you.

For example?

In Thailand, you don't put food in your mouth with a fork.

In Mexico, you never eat tacos with a fork and knife.

In Italy, you can only drink a cappuccino before noon.

In France, do not eat bread as an appetizer before your meal.
