The Passport Card

If any of you live in border communities between the US and either Canada, Mexico, or the Caribbean, you already know how much of a hassle it is carry your full passport and have it stamped every time. As of July 2008, there is another option for you all.

The Passport Card is a small card, the size of a credit card, that slips easily into your wallet.

There are no stamps on the passport card, instead it is equipped with a Radio Frequency Identification Chip, which allows for easy entrance and exits to the countries.

Unfortunately, there is no expediting of the cards at this time, but hopefully that will be coming soon!
